Field Trips
Schauber Stables, LLC is proud to announce its new Field Trip Program.
Children of all ages will enjoy a 1 1/2 to 2 hour field trip on a working horse farm and participate in a variety of farm experiences.
The activities will be geared toward the age of the children.
During their stay the children will:

Take a tour of the farm,
-
Feed a horse a treat
-
Pet and/or groom a horse,
-
Learn a little bit about horses,
-
Play with the naughty - but very adorable and extremely friendly - goats,
-
Meet Winston (our cute pot belly pig) and Nacho (our sweet mini donkey),
-
Have a pony ride, and
-
Play a game or perform a barn "chore."
The cost of the field trip is $5.00 a child.
These activities are available for the following additional fees:
Make a craft - $1.00 to $3.00 a child
Make some horse treats - $2.00 a child
Mini lessson - approx. 10 minutes long (instead of a pony ride) - $5.00 a child
Mini trail ride - approx. 15 minutes long (instead of a pony ride) - $7.00 a child
Schauber Stables, LLC is a working horse farm. Children (and teachers) should dress accordingly.
Teachers may bring a snack or picnic lunch for the children to enjoy.
