Clifton Park Farm Fest 2010
Farm Fest for the Town of Clifton Park is scheduled for the weekend of September 11 & 12th. During Farm Fest, Schauber Stables, LLC and many other local farms open their doors to the general public.
Farm Fest is a fun activity meant for the young and old and everyone in between.
In addition to taking a tour of the barns, playing with the naughty (but absolutely adorable) little goats, children can take a pony ride, feed our horses peppermints, clean some stalls, groom a horse, learn about horse care and observe various demonstrations.
The demonstrations for 2010 have not yet been scheduled - however in 2009 our demonstrations included a local farrier, Skip Messick, who skillfully custom made horse shoes and shod some of our horses; vaulting demonstrations by Anja O'Toole - with a special appearance by the World Champion Vaulter; jumping demonstrations by Team Schauber as well as horse grooming demonstrations and other informative lectures by Team Schauber.
